What a catchy title right? I was looking around to do my regular opensource software upgrade when I stumble upon this post at www.blogiseverything.com. It is kinda funny and really bold for the Mozilla team to pull off something like that.

If you want to really know what is it all about, just visit http://www.ie7.com to see the big picture. Pun intended.

It makes me wonder if the similiar stuns be pulled for ie8, ie9 etc. Either way, it does have a feel good feeling for FF advocates. And yes, I have IE installed on my system. Just for those pesky banking sites that run ASP on the backend and functions/renders real bad on FF.

redhex.hedir is considering moving the hedir games series to the forum, given the response on the blog.
Posting it on the blog has several disadvantages, of which primarily is visibility. The post may appear on the blogs links for a few days before other newer (newer does not mean more quality) posts from other hedir post pushes the logo game post out of the top blog links. Placing the post link on my signature does not give a lot of mileage as I had given that a shot.

Secondly is the amount of spam comments the posts are getting. I could end up spending more time clear spam than to response to games comments. And since the forum had removed guest posting, I feel it will do some good for everyone to move it to the forum.

Thirdly, in the forums, reply by the community will be much smoother without having to enter the email/url/name as one would in the blogs comments. It also prevent identity issue should someone fake someone else.

Given these consideration, I feel it will be good to shift the games to the forums and still post the games here in redhex.hedir for continuity sake. I need some feedback to see if this is a viable/workable idea. Everyone please.
